Maddie-you are nine months old today!! Where did the time go? It seems like you just got here. You are doing so much these days and I feel like I can barely keep up! Here is a small list of what you are getting into these days.
-You are just over seventeen pounds. You have your nine month check-up on the 20th, so we will see how much you really weigh. You feel like you are bigger than that to me!
-Will find out your length at your appt too!
-You refuse to eat any kind of baby food now. You love to munch on Mmm-mmm's, puffs, yogurt bites and any kind of table food mommy and daddy will give you. You have tried bread, ice cream, chocolate, baked beans, corn, red jello, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, and few other things I know I am forgetting. You have loved everything!
-You crawl everywhere! You can pull yourself up into a stand holding on to anything that you can grab onto.
-You are trying to walk while I hold your hands and you sometimes try to push yourself up to a stand while you are crawling.
-You like to crawl on top of Emma while she is laying on the floor. You also like to pull her hair!
-You like to play with Gertie's ears.
-You love to play with your Seasame Street toy. You have to push the tops down on top of the characters and you love to slam your hands on them to push them down.
-You wake up once during the night to just cuddle, you sometimes nurse, but you are almost weaned. You have learned how to put yourself back to sleep-finally!!
-You are talking a lot. You still say mostly consonant sounds, but you sometimes try to imitate what we say too!
-You are still a 100% complete mama's girl!! (and mommy loves it!)
You are so much fun! You are so loved and we are so blessed to have you in our family! We love you Madelyn Grace!!!
