Wordless Wednesday (A Day Late)

I really need to start taking pictures with my regular camera....

I just love my iPhone. It is so convenient to take pictures with; however, even though the camera on it is great, it is nothing like my Sony camera I have as a regular camera. I keep getting darker pictures than what I want. All well, I will just have to remind myself to grab my Sony.
Anyways, I have some pictures of my Emma...who is just growing up way too fast. I have really noticed this in the last week or so. She is acting like a little girl so much now (although she is not without the temper tantrums!). She is doing all the same stuff she always has, but there is just something different about the way she does it.


Even though she has her finger in her mouth, she still looks like a little lady doing it!! :)

I had to take a picture of this because her hair is starting to look exactly like mine did at this age. She is my mini-me!


Here is my example about taking pictures with my iPhone....it would be so good if it hadn't been so dark. All well.

I love, love, love this picture. I recently got down a bunch of my old clothes to start giving to Emma to wear and we found this old leotard from 1983 or 1984. Remember when Mary Lou Retton wore this replica when she won the Olympics. I sooooo wanted to be Mary Lou Retton and so this just thrills me that Emma loves to wear this leotard now!!

I have started selling Mary Kay and I absolutely love it! I have quite a few customers already. I am ready to start booking parties! This company is great to work for and there are all kinds of benefits. I am very excited about this new adventures I am embarking upon. Wish me luck with it! :)

Seven Months!!

Maddie Grace-you turned seven months old on Saturday! You are growing sooo fast! I look at pictures of you the day we brought you home from the hospital and it just seems so surreal how fast time has gone. You sure have accomplished all sorts of things in your life so far!
What is Maddie getting into nowadays?

-You wear a size 2 diaper
-You wear 6 months clothes
-You still love to suck your thumb while you are tired or upset
-You are still a mama's girl
-You are nursed in the evenings and if you wake up at night
-You still wake up 1-2 times a night to nurse
-You are eating baby food and love everything you have tried so far-pears, bananas, carrots, sweet potatoes (grandpa has thrown in a taste of chocolate cake and an ice cream bar; your baby-sitter has give you a taste of baked potato...you loved it all!!)
-You love any kind of toy that we let you play with and it goes straight into your mouth!
-No teeth yet
-You love Mmm-Mmm's
-You love to stand with assistance and prefer it to sitting
-You are trying your hardest to crawl, but you are just doing a baby type "Army Crawl"
-You have lost quite a bit of your hair, but you still have enough that I can pull a little bit up in a "Pebbles" ponytail
-You smile All. The. Time.
-You haven't had a major sickness (thank God!)
-You love to take walks
-You are starting to reach for me
-You can hold your bottle up all of the time now
-You try to take the spoon out of my hand while I am feeding you
-You are starting to really notice the cartoons your sister watches
-You love it when your tummy gets tickled
-You talk all the time. Your favorite sounds to make are "mamama", "dadada", "bababa". It is super cute.
-You look more and more like your great-grandpa(my mom's dad) every day and it makes me miss him even more. It also makes me happy knowing he shows so much through you!
-You can't get enough of your sister; she is crazy over you as well.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect fit to our small family! We love you Madelyn Grace!!
