Halloween and an Owwee

Hello friends! I hope everyone had a great Halloween! We sure did, even though it was cold, Emma had a blast! She was a lamb this year(we only had one person guess right, everyone thought she was a bunny-ha!). She knew she looked cute too. The way people were making her over, you would have thought she was just born yesterday!! She also got some candy, which made her so restless that night during her sleep. She kept me up all night! Here she is playing at the October Fest at church the night before Halloween. She had so much fun. They had bobbing for apples(off of sticks to prevent spread of germs), pin the belly button on the ghost, ball toss for prizes and a pinata. We were also going to have a hayride, but thanks to the lovely weather in Indiana, we were not able to :( But all in all, the night was a success! Thank you Ben and Kim for putting this all together!! The kids all had a blast!
Me and my girl :)

She could not get enough of this ring pop. I finally made Daddy take it away!

This picture is bad quality, but she was trying so hard to keep this in her mouth, I had to show you all how much she is fighting for it!!

This is Jenna. She is Kristi and Jarod's daughter. She joins big brother Quinten. She was born in August and is going to be BFF with Emma! She is such a cutie and has had a head full of hair from day 1! We are so happy she is here and love her like our own niece!

This was the excitement of last week. Emma had grabbed a book for Daddy to read to her. She was running with it and tripped as soon as she got to Daddy and hit the corner of the book right under her eye. Thank God she didn't hit her eyeball. I felt so bad for her because she was so excited about this book and then look what happened :( This is the day after. I thought she would have a black eye, but she just wound up with some blood vessels breaking under the skin. My poor baby :(

Finally, please say a quick prayer for us. We just found out that Emma's baby-sitter's son has H1N1(probable) and we were both in close contact with him on Friday. Please pray we stay healthy and that our baby-sitter's son makes a quick recovery and the rest of their family stays healthy! Everyone have a great week! (Next week I promise I will get back to "Not Me Monday")!!

  1. Emma was so adorable in her costume!! You should have went as Bo Peep. Then everyone would have known she wasn't a bunny!! LOL

  2. Such a cute little lamb! I can totally tell she's a lamb!

    Hope her eye heals quickly!

I hope you escaped the h1n1. Myself, my 22 month old and my 3 year old just got over it and well I describe it as "the slow death" so I hope you really escaped it and you all stay healthy!
