This picture is horrible of me, we forgot to take one right after church so this is after all the day's festivities(and me pulling my hair back in a ponytail). Can you tell how tired I am???? I think my mom had just woken up from a nap too....sorry mom!! :)

A couple weeks later(has it really been this long since I blogged last???) we went to a birthday party of a very cute little girl. This is Emma pre-party. We wrapped the birthday girl's gift in white tissue paper and put princess stickers all over it. Well, Emma had to have some stickers herself so I gave her a sheet and she just loves them. Even though she has all those princesses on her face, she is still the prettiest one of all!! :)

Here is Emma playing at Bailey's birthday party. She had such a good time. She loved going down the slide, I have to admit, when she first started doing it, I cried a little bit. She was just climbing up and going down....all by herself. No help needed from mama. I was a little bummed, but so proud of her doing big girl stuff. There were also quite a bit of older girls there(8-10 yrs) and they did a great job of playing with the littler kids, just keeping them busy and having fun with them. I was able to talk to adults while still keeping the kids in eyesight, I just didn't have to be there right by them the whole time. That was very nice to do.

Here is the birthday girl, Bailey. She just turned 2. She is the girl with the white tank top on reaching for the cake. Her mom and I grew up together and are great friends. I hope Emma and Bailey can be great friends just like their mamas! :)

Here is the aftermath of Emma's cupcake eating. She loved it, but I don't think that any cake got into her mouth, just icing! Her shirt sure paid for it though! :)

Emma loved her party favors she received at Bailey's birthday party. She loved this Abby Cadabby hat(of course mama got it mixed up with Zoe). I had to take some pictures of her last night because she was being so cute.

Here we are in the waiting area before my ultrasound. Emma did so well. She was kind of "toddlerish" towards the end, but she really surprised me about how well she did and I was so proud of her!

The ultrasound went wonderful. The baby is healthy and is measuring two days ahead of my EDD. She was moving so much, and I mean a lot!! She kept crossing her legs at the ankles and then stretching her legs out as far as she could. I just fell so in love with her. I can't wait until my next ultrasound! I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to confirm everything is good to go with the baby and then I wait another month. Wow, before I know it, we will be going into the appointments that are 2 weeks apart.
We really have to get to work on the baby's room now. We are moving everyone around in the house. I am going to take Emma to go pick out paint for her new room(this could be dangerous) and I will pick up some new paint for the baby's room as well. I don't know if I should do what I did with Emma's room and paint it a light yellow or go for the pink. Hmmmmm, I will have to decide soon. Any suggestions??
By the way, we went and bought a going home outfit for our second daughter last night. We decided to get that done because we didn't get Emma's until I was in labor. My poor husband was frantic at WalMart asking women there what he should get...I wish I had been with him, I would have had a good laugh.
Thanks for all of the congratulations....they really mean a lot! I will talk to everyone soon! :)
I love all the new pictures! Emma's getting so big! Do you have any names for baby #2 yet?
