Let's see....
The big news is that Maddie crawled for the first time! She had been kinda scooting along and I was watching her on May 25--yes I remembered the date--she just pulled a knee up and away she went! My dad watches both girls on Tuesdays right now and he says she has suddenly become quite the handful...lol
What did we do on vacation? Well, we cleaned a lot and relaxed. We pretty much did whatever we wanted to do. However, we did go a buy a car. We drive an hour to and from work and at the time we were doing that in a Ford Explorer. With the way gas money is, we were going broke just from that. We ended up getting a Mini Cooper and I absolutely love it! It gets 34mpg on average. It is more than doubled what we were getting with the explorer. Stress level has decreased dramatically!
Brandon and I also went to King's Island on Friday. The girls stayed with his parents and we had the day to ourselves. It was great-it is no Cedar Point, but KI has great rides. Brandon did end up losing his phone on one of the rides, so I am working on getting him a replacement one. I asked him why he didn't keep his hand on his pocket with the phone in it like I did and he said he was too concerned about losing my sunglasses. Hmmmm, phone or sunglasses....what is more important??? Anyways, other than that, it was a great day. I got to eat my Smurf ice cream (blueberry) and that made the world a better place to be in :)
Now we are back to regular schedules again. Fun fun fun fun. All well, at least we can take vacations. My next one is in August, so not too far away!
This weekend is the National Road 40 rummage sales!! I pretty much live for this weekend! Think of me tomorrow while I am out in the heat getting awesome deals for kids clothes (my favorite thing to do!!) :)
We also have our anniversary tomorrow. It will be six years for us. A lot sure has happened in those six years! It has been a great ride though.
I cannot believe that in about 8 more weeks Emma will be three years old. Wow, I really need to start buying stuff for her party. I have asked her over and over again what she wants the theme to be--Dora or Tinkerbell and every time she says without hesitation "Tinkerbell". She absolutely adores Tinkerbell and anything that has to do with fairies. It is okay though because I like it too, I think the colors are pretty and all the characters are very cute in all of the movies. I like the concept of the movies too and Emma really seems to get the point of them-such as being a loyal friend and believing in yourself.
We bought a new swing for outside and I love it. The last couple of evening have been beautiful with a nice breeze and it is so nice to sit out in it and relax. Maddie has almost fallen asleep a few times in it, and she probably would have if we didn't have big redneck trucks driving by every 30 seconds. For living in a farm town, it sure it loud!!
One last thing before I post some pictures....Emma drew her first picture of me last night! I forgot to take her picture because I was too busy tearing up and trying not to cry. I will have to do that tonight and post it on here because it is the cutest picture ever!! :)

Madelyn eating sweet potatoes.

These last two pictures are from Memorial Day (thank you to all our veterans, past and present!). Emma would not look at the camera for me and decided to steal Maddie's duck. Maddie looks so upset doesn't she???? HAHA
