My first baby turned four this past Sunday. I cannot believe how fast the time flies. I remember being home with her on Maternity leave watching "A Baby Story" on TLC. The updates they did on the families were when the babies were 6-8 weeks old. I remember thinking, "wow, it is going to be forever before Emma is that age!" hahahaha.....Oh, to be a new mom again :)
Emma is becoming such a sweet and creative young girl. She loves to dress up as a princess. Whenever she is watching something, she will call me, or my mom, or etc. by the character name. We have to then call her by the name she picks out. My mom is usually Super Why or Grandma from Little Red Riding Hood. I am usually Queen Mommy or Ursula (yeah, those are the same!!). Brandon is usually King Daddy or King Triton. I love it when she plays in character.
She loves anything to do with princess or Tinkerbell.
She loves to read.
She loves to help me sweep the floors and load the washer and dishwasher.
She likes to help Daddy cook supper and bake stuff.
She plays the game of "I'm thirsty" when it's time for bed.
She is all of a sudden very much into Lalaloopsy dolls and accessories.
She likes to chew on her dolls (we are working on that!)
She weighs about 38 pounds and is the same in inches.
She thinks she is so cool because she has the third row seat all to herself!
She is getting a bike this next weekend for a late birthday present.
She can swim on her own.
She likes to sing the "Mr. Sun" song everyday to try and get it "him" to stay out instead of it becoming dark. But then she is excited because "Mr. Moon" is out.
Every time she hears anything about Jesus, she remembers seeing a man dressed as Jesus in a parade and has to tell everyone about it!
She likes to walk around the cemetary with mommy and we talk about Great-Grandpa Wayne going to heaven and the little boy that mommy knew that went to heaven. We visit the little boy's grave every time we go there. She likes to say hi to him and make sure everything looks good....so sweet.
We are starting to talk about "Stranger Danger". She likes to say hi to everyone that passes by, so she needs to know that she needs to be a little more leery of strangers.
Every movie, piece of candy, etc. is "this is my favorite, mommy".
She loves to run around naked.
She loves to play in the bath tub for a long time.
She loves to have her finger and toenails painted.
She loves to wear any kind of jewelery and make-up....if mommy lets her :)
She loves to hold Eli.
She is just a doll and I love her so very much!!
